Mason and I were tucking in Annie to bed. After our routine of reading Bible stories and saying prayers, we usually have small talk with Annie. For some reason, at bedtime we have some of the best toddler conversations with her. On this night, I asked her some of her favorite things.
Me: What's your favorite color?
Annie: Pink
Me: What's your favorite animal?
Annie: Giraffe [I'm a little surprised because she usually answers "Pink" to every
question--maybe we're getting somewhere!]
Me: What's your favorite thing to do?
Annie: Play blocks.
Since I'm the one who's usually playing with her, I said, "Oooo! I love blocks! What's Mommy's favorite thing to do?"
"Eat"
